Warehouse version 0.8.1 is now available for download at https://code.google.com/p/indicia/downloads/list.

As usual this contains loads of bug fixes and enhancements which you can browse the details of on the Google Code site at https://code.google.com/p/indicia/source/list. Here are a few highlights:

• New optional module to support individuals, groups and associations of a species

• Support for NBN Exchange format built into the data and reporting services

• Warehouse modules can now integrate with the task scheduler

• New warehouse data_cleaner module for applying NBN record cleaner verification rules to the data

• New warehouse cache_builder module for building cache tables for rapid and simple reporting

• Cache_builder functionality includes a new searchterms index for fast taxon lookups, including tolerance for punctuation and spacing differences

• New warehouse spatial_index_builder module for building a link between samples and locations for rapid reporting

• Notifications management for verification rule violations

• Implementation of agreements between websites, e.g. websites can "agree" to share data for reporting or verification purposes. Agreements are integrated into the reporting engine.

• Taxa can now have custom attributes

• People can now have custom attributes

• Location SHP file upload improvements

• Support for "Easy Login" allowing client website users to have a user created on the warehouse. This gives much better opportunities for cross-site user management.
