Topic: Order of forum posts

Not sure where to post this, as its about this forum rather than about Recorder.

Since the forum was updated posts no longer seem to display with the most recent comment first, rather they are ordered by the date of starting the thread.

This means that adding a comment to an older post doesn't bump it back to the top. Or am I missing something in the settings?

Re: Order of forum posts

I have changed this  for all the forums, so should now be back the way it was before.

Re: Order of forum posts

While on the meta-topic of this forum, it seems to be paging only 3 posts at a time. I don't know how others feel, but I personally find any paging at all quite an annoyance as it prevents a whole thread being on-screen at once and therefore makes it harder to search through. Paging makes sense when on a really (really!) slow connection, but in the context of this forum, is there any benefit to having it switched on at all? I would cautiously suggest turning it off, or at least give a really high paging value.

Re: Order of forum posts

Turns out the settings to control pagination were in my profile and not global to the forum.
