Biodiversity Technologies – Thursday 27th & Friday 28th September 2012, Department of Zoology, University of Oxford

This year’s Biodiversity Institute Symposium highlights the use of emerging technologies in biodiversity science and conservation. The symposium will bring together the latest research and developments in biodiversity technologies that are used in wide variety of settings and applications. The symposium topics include: bioacoustics, citizen science, field data collection, mapping and genetic technologies. There will also be a session that looks at the ways in which these diverse technologies can change behaviours and encourage new thinking.
