There is a very useful function where you can click on a survey name and drag it over to the map, and it will plot the locations of the survey events or samples.
However, it appears that this is not available to read only users i.e. it works for someone with edit permissions but if read-only users try it then nothing happens.

Is this as it should be or could there be something wrong with my set-up?
If the former, why shouldn't read only users be able to use this function - surely it won't affect the data?
