I purchased Recorder 6 Version 6.13a (standalone) back in 2008'ish. I have tried to install it on my windows vista machine but when I put in a site ID the "next" button is greyed out and I cannot proceed.  I wish to use the software for a small scale bioblitz I am organising at Ewelme, Oxfordshire and would be grateful for any help.

Version 6.13 isn't very Vista friendly, so you might be better off installing 6,17. I assume you do have the site id and the correct verification key ?  Let me know the site ID and I will advise on the best thing to do.

I suspect that might be the problem, or at least part of it.  My memory is going and I cannot remember either the site ID or the verification key.  Is there any way of finding these?

Best first  to go back to the person who originally supplied you with R6.   It is very important  that a site id's is only in use on one system, so it might be better if you to get a new one. You would also  be better off with version 6.17 as this will install on Windows 7 and Vista. Version 6.13 could probably be installed on Vista, but  it would not be easy.
