Before I do it, does anyone know if I will have problems changing the Recorder database compatibility level from 80 to 90 (I want to use the PIVOT keyword)?

Hi Charlie
Without giving the database a full test in compatibility level 90, this is difficult to answer. Certainly at the time we switched to support SQL 2005 there was code which required compatibility level 80 though things may well have changed in the years since then. I would certainly not do this on a live database without a thorough test.

Others have managed to use the PIVOT keyword ( e.g. http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?id=1284 ) which suggests they are using a recorder database with a compatibility level of 90?
