Am I right in thinking that JNCC is no longer issuing new species numbers and date-specific passwords?

For anyone interested the answer to my question is no, i.e. JNCC is still issuing such numbers/passwords.  Contact person is John Morris - he's just emailed me with the good news.

Perhaps it might be sensible to ask that any new species listed as "to be added" on the Species Dictionary forum automatically get added to the Rec 3.3 species list as well.  Be good to get an "official" Rec 3.3 update at some point.
