Finally getting around to upgrading to version 6.17 but have run into a problem straight away.

When I run the upgrade it comes up with an error message:

"The following file could not be upgraded either because it is in use or you have insufficient privileges: 
recordersrv01\Recorder 6 Server\ Addins\Images\GoToKey.bmp
Please resolve the problem and restart th upgrade"

I have logged onto the server and have admin rights on my computer.

Any ideas?

Is GoToKey.bmp Read-only? If so, making it not Read-only may resolve the problem. Can you also check whether you have permission to write to the Images folder – try saving a text file to it.

Hi Sally

Turns out there were a whole host of files that I needed access rights to individually rather than just the server.  Have managed to run the upgrade now and seems to be OK
