Hi

I set up a new Rucksack the other day saved it and now when I try to open it I get a unhandled error. The RUK file opens in Notepad ok. Any idea’s what may be going wrong.

Open the rucksack in notepad and check for duplicate keys, I am having a similar problem, although I don't get an unhandled error any more since upgrading to 6.17. The keys must be unique.

If you can't see any obvious duplicates you could try the  Rucksack Generator addin

If you are using 6.17 the addin  will need to be copied into the Recorder 6 Addin folder, before installation.

The addin runs from the tools menu (Generate Rucksack 3). In the first Window tick the box to retain the keys. In the next Window use the browse to find the problem Rucksack (you will need to change the file type to ruk).   At the next Window specify a new name for the Rucksack. The new Rucksack will be generated together with  a .csv log file which will show you where the duplicate(s) have been found.
