Re: Increasing font size?

We have folk here whose eyesight is not as good as it might be.

Im trying to increase the font size of the Recorder text without losing the window space of our small monitors.

The windows settings only seem to change the borders and suchlike  or lose desktop space.

Can I change the default font size for recorder from the registry? Will that hold for the workstation alone?

Re: Increasing font size?

Hi Matt, unfortunately Recorder does not currently feature any facilities for changing the font size.

Re: Increasing font size?

Have you tried the screen magnifier? I'm just having a play around with the one in Vista. It works quite nicely. The zoomed portion follow the mouse around the screen and, when you start typing something, it follows along with what you're typing. I've not got access to XP here, but I imagine it would work the same.

Re: Increasing font size?

Is changing the font size an option for a future upgrade at some point?  It is very small, and does make life difficult for some people.  We tried the screen magnifier mentioned, but that is too huge

Re: Increasing font size?

Increasing the font size in Windows 7 works - although if you go any bigger than 125% you can't read the e.g. surveys in the observation hierachy because Recorder doesn't respect the font size.

Search for "font size" in the Start Menu and select "make text and other items larger or smaller"
