Re: Editing date types

When I uploaded a set to the Gateway recently it transpired that a small number of records had somehow been stored as Y- date type, which the Gateway does not accept.  I would like to change these to Y (which they should have been from the start), and am happy to do it manually.

Is it OK just to edit the VAGUE_DATE_END and VAGUE_DATE_TYPE fields in SURVEY_EVENT, SAMPLE and TAXON_DETERMINATION?

Are there other tables or fields that need changing?

Re: Editing date types

I would appreciate a bit of advice on this query from one of the experts.

Just a 'yes, that is fine' would do, or a hint as to what else is appropriate.

Thanks,

M.

Re: Editing date types

The three tables you mention are the correct ones.
The vague date end is probably set to null or zero  and will need to be changed to the end of the year ( 31/12/Year). You can then change the vague_date  type to 'Y'

Re: Editing date types

That is what I thought, Mike.  Thanks for the confirmation.
