Re: Recorder 6.17 upgrade problem

Yet another one I'm afraid.  Bit odd though compared to the rest.  Ran the upgrade program on the server machine, all went well.  The workstation runs fine on this machine.  None of the other workstation installs on the other computers will run.  I get the same error: Error accessing the OLE registry.  All machines are running Windows 7, all 32-bit except for one machine running 64-bit, but they all have the same issue.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Alright, change of topic.  Just noticed should have run the upgrade from another machine.  D'oh!  Any idea how to restore to previous version?

Steve

Can you give a bit more details about what you have done and what you now need to do. It doesn't do any harm to run the upgrade more than once if  required.

Re: Recorder 6.17 upgrade problem

One more point on this - if you upgrade a network setup but only upgrade on one machine, then you will need to run Recorder as administrator on the other machines (or just re-run the upgrade kit on each).

Re: Recorder 6.17 upgrade problem

I ran the upgrade from the server machine rather than a workstation only machine.  I've done this in the past with no problems, but this time it's not allowing me to access this from the other machines on the network.  Will running the upgrade from the workstation machines one at a time rectify this?

Re: Recorder 6.17 upgrade problem

Running the program as an administrator seems to have fixed the issue.  Thanks for the help.
