Does ANYONE know how to install the Bulk Load Addin to Recorder2002 running on a laptop using Vista??
When I go Tools>Install>Addin module and navigate to the file MapToolsD7.dll I am told that "The specified file is not a COM object and cannot be registered ">OK > "The following file was not installed : MapToolsD7. The object you tried did  not contain any valid Recorder 2002 addins."

As I have 60 map tiles to transfer from old laptop to new laptop any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have managed to install the Bulk Load Addin to R2002 on machine running Vista - the key is to use the "Run As Administrator" option. Having installed 60 map tiles in R2002 on the Vista machine, I find to my dismay that the mapping feature in R2002 does not now work properly, and it worked perfectly in XP. This will be the subject of another post when I have stopped throwing things around the office.
