In addition to adding and updating new species datasets, the species dictionary on the NBN Gateway has been updated. This update includes the addtion of 2 new designated lists which may be used to filter on site reports on the Gateway or as a designated list filter on the onesite, species list and taxon reporting category list web services. These new designated lists are

1. Natural England: Species of Principal Importance in England list (use SPECIES_OF_PRINCIPAL_IMPORTANCE_IN_ENGLAND in the web service SOAP request's designation attribute)

2. JNCC: JNCC Collation of Species Designations (use  JNCC_COLLATION_OF_SPECIES_DESIGNATIONS in the web service SOAP request's designation attribute). Explanation of this list can be found on JNCC's website at http://www.jncc.gov.uk/page-3408
