Re: Recorder 6.13 Import wizard error

Hi Steve,

I would suggest upgrading to the latest version and make sure the dictionary is up-to-date etc and then seeing if you stil get the problem. You can download the upgrade from the recorder website: http://forums.nbn.org.uk/recorderWebsite/upgrades.htm

Hope this helps,
Lynn

Re: Recorder 6.13 Import wizard error

Hi Steve,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you (we are currently having trouble with the forum notifications). This error has occurred previously (see post: http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?id=522) - it may be caused by the standard validation addin that you reinstalled. Try uninstalling the addin and re-trying the import - another post that may be of use is: http://forums.nbn.org.uk/viewtopic.php?id=837. Dorset are aware of this latter problem and are looking into a more long-term solution.

I hope this helps - let us know how you get on - whether this works - so we can compile a list of errors and solutions.
Thanks,
Lynn

Re: Recorder 6.13 Import wizard error

I have finally found that by uninstalling an application I had corrupted the Windows Registry causing me problems with programs other than Recorder.  I had to do a complete system rebuild which solved the Recorder import problem.
