We are having problems with poplars - we are using Recorder 2002, entering data via the R3.3 dictionary.  Although Lombardy poplar is on the list, we are unable to enter records for this species.  If we try, we get an 'unhandled error'.  It also does seem to approve of a couple of the other hybrids.

We haven't had this problem with anything else (so far) only the poplars.

Has anyone else had anything similar?

Hi Eleanor

I just wondered if you were still having problems with creating records of Lombardy-poplar?

I have just tried to create one on my copy of R2002 (the most up to date version) and it seems to work fine. It creates records for Lombardy-poplar - "Populus nigra 'Italica'" both via the observations window and 'Enter a species record...'

What version are you using and through what method are you trying to enter the records (if this problem still exists)?
