Topic: Advanced Search - 'Taxon name' not behaving as expected

- Search for White-faced Darter finds all taxa containing the words 'white', 'faced' or 'darter'. Fair enough.
- Search for "White-faced Darter" finds all taxa containing the words 'white', 'faced' or 'darter', ignoring the double-quotes that ususually restricts to exact matches. Unexpected.

- Search for Leucorrhinia finds genus records and all species records. Good.
- Search for Leucorrhinia and VC=Westmorland finds all taxa in Westmorland, ignoring the leucorrhinia, although it appears in the URI. Bizarre.
- Search for "Leucorrhinia dubia" finds all taxa containing 'leucorrhinia' (as above) or 'dubia' (many unrelated taxa). Unexpected.

Are these symptoms of other known failings in Advanced Search? See also the report here regarding case-sensitivity.

Re: Advanced Search - 'Taxon name' not behaving as expected

I can explain one failing: ignoring the Taxon name when other parameters are specified appears to be because the taxon name value is being placed before q= in the URI.
.../search?taxa=Leucorrhinia&q=nbn_loading=true&...

This simple search works as expected if I re-order the terms to place it after the q= like this:
.../search?q=taxa%3ALeucorrhinia&nbn_loading=true&...
