Dear all,

Our developers have started work on upgrading the records component on the NBN Atlas to the latest version of the ALA platform. The work will also include upgrading the Solr infrastructure to the latest version. It is Solr that drives the records search and we have not been able to upgrade it since the launch of the Atlas. The stability and performance problems that we have had are due to the old version of Solr that we are running.

To give Helen and Keith time for the upgrade and not to get in the way of the upgrade work, we are not going to process data and add new records until the upgrade is complete.

We should be processing records again in early August.
