Topic: Record Access instability

It's not happened for a while but I'm getting the dreaded "counting records" syndrome.
To add to the frustration I'm now getting problems when I try to access record details e.g.
"Failed calling web service. class java.io.IOException Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: https://species-ws.nbnatlas.org/taxon/NBNSYS0000030556 URL= https://species-ws.nbnatlas.org/taxon/NBNSYS0000030556."

It could just be the weather in the Outer Isles.

Perhaps someone could have a look at the system please.

Thanks

Christine

Re: Record Access instability

Hi Christine,

There has been a little instability in both the species and records search indexes over the last couple of days. Helen restarted the services yesterday evening and hopefully that has improved things.

I am sorry for the inconvenience,

Best wishes, Sophie

Re: Record Access instability

Thank you Sophie,
I'm still encountering intermittent problems - yesterday it was with the taxonomy view for my local authority (preferred location).
If you are "fixing" things - can someone have a look at the LBH Atlas log-in please. After completing my user name and password all I get is a blank screen, but when I return to the Atlas I am logged in. A minor irritation.

Perhaps all these irritations will be fixed during your maintenance on Thurdsday.

Thanks

Christine
