Biodiversity Services Officer
£16,500-£18,000 (dependent on experience)
Based in Horncastle
   
Lincolnshire Biodiversity Partnership brings together local authorities, statutory agencies, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations with a responsibility for and interest in biodiversity in the historic county of Lincolnshire.  It co-ordinates action, information and protection and provides services for partner organisations.

We are seeking a Biodiversity Services Officer to provide a wide range of services, including, collating, managing and providing information through the Lincolnshire Environmental Records Centre, managing the Local Wildlife Sites system and supporting work on the Lincolnshire Biodiversity Action Plan.
   
You will be a committed, detailed and enthusiastic person with a relevant degree and strong computer skills, including database and GIS systems (experience of MapInfo GIS, Recorder 2002/6 database and BARS would be an advantage).  You should have excellent communication skills to enable you to deal with a wide range of people at all levels, and you should be familiar with habitat and species survey terminology and taxonomy.
