Topic: Recorder 6 won't start because of missing/incorrect dictionary path

I cannot open Recorder 6 because of the missing dictionary path error. Unfortunately, it appears someone deleted the folder I had on my PC with the last dictionary updates I had run (last year, I'm a bit behind) and they are no longer in the recycle bin so I can't restore them. I am now stuck as I can't open Recorder to get the information needed on verison number etc to rerun the dictionary updates. No idea what to do now. Grateful for any help.

Hi

If you can remember where you put the dictionary files then all you need to do is to create the folder again.No need to put any files in it. If you can't remember then you come back and I will advise the next step.

Thanks Mike luckily I do know where it was so I've tried that and Recorder has opened. Appreciate your help! Now to catch up on dictionary updates.
