I'm trying to get some data imported for a recording group and having problems as I cannot find any documentation on the import format. I realise as there are many options of fields to import this might be incomplete but at present I can't import data because of this error;

"sample:date_type: Please supply a date for your observation."

Where the date is  13/08/2016

I did try adding a date type field and populating on the same basis as the NBN date type but that makes no difference and I could not find an explanation of date type. All a bit odd since the date is in the same format as data downloaded from iRecord.
