Topic: Progress with uploads from government agencies

Do we have any indication of progress with uploads from agencies which had datasets on the Gateway.
Specifically the Invertebrate Site Register, The Welsh Invertebrate Dataset and a couple of Recording Scheme datasets that BRC had there (Culicidae, Dixidae)

Re: Progress with uploads from government agencies

Hi Darwyn

I don't have any dealings with data flow but I am probably the most active person from BRC on the forum just now so, if the conclusion is that we might be holding something up, I can make some enquiries. However, I presume it was down to the recording scheme organisers to determine whether they wanted their data on the Atlas and, if they agreed, the migration could have been direct from Gateway to Atlas without involving BRC.

The ISR and WID are on the Atlas: https://registry.nbnatlas.org/public/sh … urce/dr664 and https://registry.nbnatlas.org/public/sh … rce/dr1212

Thanks both.
Just beginning a bit of chasing up and not got my "search" head screwed on right yet.
We can focus on those recording schemes now, we'll see what we can come up with, might be turning to BRC again to see if they can help persuade.
Cheers

Re: Progress with uploads from government agencies

I've just noticed the Dixidae dataset is there as well - yes, the search is a little different (from the dataset list page at least). I just noticed that if you search for Culicidae and then Dixidae, it searches for both Culicidae and Dixidae. You have to reset between each search - confounded me for a bit that one!

(Pretty sure the Culicidae data isn't on there!!)
