Topic: Best practice guidelines

Hello,
Is there group active and does it have anything to report yet?
We are about to start adding records from published literature to our database and would welcome suggestions on best practice on the use of this type of data.

I recommend making it clear in your database which parts are originally from the publication (e.g. the species name used, the site name)  and which are interpretations (e.g. current binomial, the current name for the site).
