Topic: Loading NBN gateway into Recorder 6

I have downloaded data from the NBN which I would like to merge with my R6 data while I do some reports etc. Is there a way I can do this without affecting my long term use of Recorder 6.  Sorry about the Xmas post, but this is the one time of year I have time to work on this sort of thing.

Hi

Recorder 6 is designed to do this. Set up a new Survey for the NBN data. Make sure the Media type is set to Temporary.

When importing the data use this Survey. Do not import any Location (hierarchy) data. If you want the names of the Recorder you can use Temporary to store the names without parsing them. Also make sure that you don't allocate any new keys  for Abundance etc.

You will be able to use the data in the normal way. When you have finished delete the whole Survey using the Batch Update.
