Hello
Having a very frustrating time getting Recorder 6 to work properly on anything other than a domain admin account on a workstation. I have followed all the install guides for getting Recorder 6.23.2.279 installed on Windows server 2012 R2 and SQL server 2012, with workstations running Windows 7 64-bit. If the workstation is run on anything other than an admin account it may fail giving various reasons about Map File paths and other registry settings being incorrect so after changing them to UNC paths I get to ‘EOleException: login failed for user ‘domain\user_name’.
We have an older version of Recorder running on Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005 and it works perfectly with Windows 7 64-bit for several years now. But we need to upgrade the server and after trying everything I have found on the forums am getting nowhere.
Can anyone offer any help or guidance on this please?
Kind regards
