Topic: Windows 10

Yesterday, I upgraded from Vista to Win 10 and all seemed well with recorder 6. This morning  Recorder 6 will not open, with a message about not being able to find database. Please can anyone help.

In desperation I have restored back to Vista, but recorder 6 will not now open even under Vista.  I can't find my original DVD's which are anyway several R6 versions back and I am worried about my data if I reinstall.

I run Recorder 6 on a Windows 10 network. It works fine though there were a few permissions issues in users trying to access the database on the server but they could see the database ok.

What you're experiencing sounds like it might be something to do with the registry (is the database located in the location its checking) or potentially the Server itself.

Are you running Recorder on a stand alone machine? Have you made any registry or software changes (other than the OS of course)?
