I have just transferred data from Recorder 2002 to 6 and initially had 532 failures.

I identified the cause of the failures as errors transferring Biotope data from Recorder 3 to Recorder 2000. For some unknown reason these records created entries in the Taxon Determination table but not in the Biotope Occurrence table.

The method I used to correct this was to re-input each Biotope occurrence, then delete the original entries from the occurrence list and from the Taxon Determination table. Time consuming but relatively simple.

Data transfer was then successful.

During the process I noted that two Biotope codes from Recoprder 3 did not appear in recorder 2002 and 6.

These are J261, Boundaries - Permanently wet ditch and J262, Boundaries - Seasonally wet ditch. I assume that there was a conscious decision to exclude these from Recorder 2002/6 but am at a loss as to what to use instead.

Any suggestions on this latter item would be appreciated.
