Topic: Local Recording Groups

Hi,

I've only recently become aware of the "Local Recording Groups" feature and was wondering whether it is functional, before trying to implement it.

We've already implemented some forms and used custom attributes to link some observers and locations together to allow management of collaborative groups of recorders, but it looks like this  would be something that could be handled by this module. If so, then it would make sense for us to make use of the built-in functionality.

I was unable to find any documentation for it, so it would be useful to know if it is already being used.

Hi Robin
Yes, it is being used, and drives the "Activities" page on the iRecord Record menu item for example. The best way to get started might be to grab a copy of the feature module I wrapped it up into, since you need several forms enabled for it to work. You can grab all the indicia_features modules by running the following with an SVN client:

svn export https://indicia.googlecode.com/svn/drupal_7/modules/indicia_features/trunk/indicia_features

Thanks John,

I'll take a look at the feature in iRecord and download the files.
Is this feature only available for drupal7? If the so then it may be time for me to migrate from drupal6 if indicia now supports drupal7.
