We have lots of processes (basically databases procedures) that allows us to verify records/datasets in-house, however this is quite specialist work & we are hoping to have a process that any of our trained volunteer could undertake.  There are several ways we could do this, but I am thinking about amalgamating our in-house rules and writing them into the NBN Record Cleaner verification format. However I don't fancy creating the +10,000 rules/txt files manually! 

I have most of the data needed in database format so I am looking for a method to create the .txt files (Metadata header and body content) automatically and name the file as the correct species, etc. 

Has anyone else created a very large number of Record Cleaner 'rules' and if so would you be willing to share the process you used?
