Topic: Verification

I'm using the default verification form - which uses the "Verification 3" form (code.google.com/p/indicia/wiki/PrebuiltFormVerification3)

I'm not getting the Verify, Reject, Email buttons at the top of the form though. Also, the Details, map, Images & Comments tabs are missing.

I'm guessing it's a permissions thing but as far as I can see they're set up correctly.

The form itself has View Access Control ticked and the Permission name is "verifier". In Drupal Roles, I have a "verifier", checking the role's permissions, the iform module's verifier option is ticked. In Permissions, the verifier column has a tick in the iform module's verifier field. Looking at the actual users, I have assigned the verifier role to those that need it.

Is there anything else I should to ticking anywhere?

TIA

Re: Verification

Hi Croaker
Is there a good reason to use the Drupal 6 based Instant Indicia, rather than Drupal 7 plus the iForm module? Drupal 6 is nearing its end of supported life now so if you are building a new site, switching to Drupal 7 now rather than later would be a good idea.
I'd also recommend that you use the later "Verification 4" prebuilt form as it has more up to date features (as used on iRecord for example).
Best wishes

Re: Verification

John

I'm using Drupal 6 on my hosting as Drupal 7 + Indicia was a complete failure. Nothing seems to work or hook together properly, I got blanks pages and errors galore.

Thanks. I'll give Verification 4 a go - not sure why I don't already have it given my current Indicia modules are SVN downloads :( - ah, perhaps it's only in the Drupal 7 branch...

Re: Verification

Hi

The pre-built forms are part of the client_helpers library and not the Drupal module so you should have Verification 4.

Question might be, which tag/branch/trunk you have copied from SVN. Trunk or tags/version 0.9.0 would be my suggestion.

For info, I would only start a new site with Drupal 7 as 6 will be obsolete and unsupported before too long. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with that. It is fairly mature code now and is working in lots of other places.
