Topic: Zero values in Sample Northing
Hi just trying to work out what has happened here.
I have some records which on exporting to ESRI shapefile appeared in the wrong location - the gridref is TF740008, but they appeared on the exported file as if the ref was TF74000000. As the data below shows the Sample Northing values are 0. I can sort of follow how this would create the exported shape that it does, via concatenation and trimming.
FID 475
Shape Polygon
ID 475
SAMPLE_LOC Oxburgh Hall: Home Covert, NW
SAMPLE_L_1
SAMPLE_SPA TF740008
SAMPLE_L_2
SAMPLE_VAG 41474
TAXON_COMM Small Green Nettle Weevil
TAXON_LATI Phyllobius roboretanus
TAXON_GROU insect - beetle (Coleoptera)
SAMPLE_REC Martin Collier
OBS_COMMEN small window trap in wet woodland, near pile of poplar logs, 27/6 to 19/7/13
ALL_DESIGN
SAMPLE_NOR 0 (=Sample Northing Centre)
SAMPLE_EAS 574005 (=Sample Easting Centre)
SAMPLE_N_1 0 (=Sample Northing SW Corner)
SAMPLE_E_1 574000 (=Sample Easting SW Corner)
SAMPLE_LON 0.5678
SAMPLE_LAT 52.5696
I can't actually find where the values for Sample Northing are held, they don't seem to be in the SAMPLE table. Can anyone suggest what I need to change. There appear to be only 96 records that have this problem, all of which are at the same location. The location will have been created by the import wizard on importing these records.
Thanks
