Topic: Import Wizard Synonym Matching Problem

While importing some moth records today, I came across 2 species which were not recognized by the import wizard.

Eligmodonta ziczac = Notodonta ziczac


Semiothisa clathrata = Chiasmia clathrata



Both are listed as Other Synonyms in the Taxon Dictionary Browser, both are recognized as synonyms on the NBN Gateway and NHM species search.
We are using Recorder version 6.21.1.270, Dictionary 0000001W.

I have checked these two species using the lastest dictionary (0000002B) and also tested an import using them matching against the preferred list and all looks Ok. Can you upgrade to2B and see if this solves the problem. If not I will investigate further.

We'll try that but not for some time as we are moving Recorder to a new server in the near future and plan to update to the latest version of Recorder as well as updating the dictionaries.
