Topic: Indicia2Recorder add-in

Hi,
I'm trying to get the Indicia2Recorder add-in working. I have a test environment set up so I'm not working with our live Recorder 6 DB.

I have installed the Indicia2Recorder add-in and got it working with the iRecord connection string. However I cannot see any of the CEDaR datasets in the 'surveys to download' dropdown and when I chose <all surveys> it crashed out.

I had actually wanted to be able to connect with our own website rather than iRecord and have gone through the process of creating our own connection string through the add-in wizard. I think I am doing it all right but when I get to the point of logging in with my website admin account I get a Forbidden message (I have tried several accounts but none will connect). I have tried this over and over again, with different permutations of our URL (which is on a sub-domain but set to redirect) but nothing works.

Any ideas on what I can try next to get this working?

Thanks,
Fiona

Re: Indicia2Recorder add-in

Hi Fiona,
I don’t think your “agreement” with iRecord extends to making the records available on the iRecord download page. That’s easy to fix though if you want it to allow download?
To connect with your own website, have you installed the 2 Drupal modules, Indicia Mobile Auth and Indicia Remote Download?

Re: Indicia2Recorder add-in

Hi John,

Yes, sorry I should have said that I have both modules installed and have worked through the wizard adding all the information required by it to make the connection string. I get the forbidden message when I try a connection string with either my live site or my development site. Could there be a setting in my .htaccess file or settings.php file that might be preventing a connection being made?

Thanks,
Fiona
