Topic: New Term: Record Type error

Hi,

I have just been trying to add a new term via the R6 'Configure term list' (Tools > Term Lists..) and it is throwing up an error. I don't recall having this problem in the past, though i haven't added anything recently. If you try and add a term during import wizard it simply does nothing.

exception number  : 2
exception class   : EDatabaseError
exception message : Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_RECORD_TYPE'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.RECORD_TYPE'.

I don't see why there should be a duplicate if i am trying to create the entry through R6? Is it possible that this is the result of another relic from one of my predecessors? (addition of an Access key).

Cheers, Ben
