Larger Brachycera Recording Scheme, through the Biological Records Centre, have produced 10KM range, recording period and seasonal period rules for larger brachycera (flies). Additionally they have also assigned identification difficulties and highlighted species that require additional verification (species that are very rare or with taxonomic uncertainties).  These are now available to download and use in the NBN Record Cleaner.
