Topic: unchecked records

I need some advice on the best procedure and a couple of shortcuts if anyone has already done this. We have recently combined lots of data from different sources and there is a large number of unchecked records.

The result of this is that it is now difficult to use the 'Display unchecked records' in the sensible way intended.

I realise it is likely to be regarded as bad practice to suggest we 'check' some of these records automatically but I wonder if anyone has a query we can run to 'check' a survey at a time?

To compound our problem, we now have several people entering data into the same database on the network and I would be grateful for any suggestions of protocol for this. I must now make sure everyone gets their records checked soon after they are entered. Has anyone out there a query which returns all the records entered by someone between particular dates? (rather than just a count of them!)

many thanks in advance!

Re: unchecked records

The attached XML report may help. It is designed to display the unchecked records between specified entry dates for a specified individual (entered_by). It only displays the keys, but clicking on either field will take you directly to the records which can then be checked.  Additional fields could be added fairly easily. This report was done a while ago, so it will be worth checking that it is producing the right results.

Close R6 and copy the file into the reports folder. Open R6 and the report should be in Reports/Run under the system reports menu.
