Topic: Dictionary upgrade

I'm new to Recorder. I've managed to download 17.1 and then upgraded to 18.1 without any problems. I then ran the dictionary upgrade; no databases were required. However, I'm now having a problem with the 00000015 to 1n.zip. It downloaded and I can see the 19 files, which I'm supposed to do together. However, 7 of these are query files. How do I do this?

thanks
David

Re: Dictionary upgrade

Dictionary upgrades come in 2 forms .sql files and zipped Access databases. Either way you need to download the required upgrade file(s) from the Dictionary Downloads section of the Recorder 6 web-site http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-4615, unzip it/them and copy the files they contain into the Scripts folder  in the Dictionary Upgrade Kit (version 4) prior to running DictionaryUpgrade.exe. The Scripts folder should contain files with names like 0000001A.sql, 0000001B.sql, 0000001C.zip, 0000001D.zip, etc. The upgrade kit will do whatever is required with both file types.
