Topic: Problem with species dropdown on record submission form

Hi,
I've updated my offline squirrel recording site to the latest version of Instant Indicia (0.8.2) but have found that on the sighting submission page my species dropdown (which should show Red Squirrel and Grey Squirrel) shows both the common names and the scientific names giving 4 options instead of the expected 2.

I have the Species Name Filter set to "Only allow selection of species using common names in the user’s language" so can't work out what has gone wrong.

I've just tried updating the data_entry_helper.php and dynamic_sample_occurrence.php files to the latest versions from the Trunk but this hasn't solved the problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Problem with species dropdown on record submission form

UPDATE:
I've solved this issue with a work around which I don't think should be necessary but since it works I'm going to use it.

I have added in a taxa filter (Field used to filter taxa) using the Taxon Meaning ID and included the two Taxon Meaning IDs from my species list. For some reason this now reduces my species list to just show the common names (which I want) and not a list with the common names and the scientific names (not desirable as it is just repetitive)
