Topic: Problem accessing Web Services with 3.5 java client api?

Hello

All our java/jsp implementations are currently failing to connect to the Web Services.
Do I need to make any changes to my code to access the Web Services now?

Or do I infact need a new version of the client jar file in order to access the new version of the gateway web services?

Thanks

Richard

Re: Problem accessing Web Services with 3.5 java client api?

Our 3.4 web services at http://www.bedscape.org.uk/BRMC/newsite … ecies_maps  and at http://www.bnhs.co.uk/focuson/NBN_gatew … /index.htm are now only partially working too.

It returns a species list for a dataset using GetSpeciesList, but not using a circular search area. GetGridMap doesn't work anymore. (Or if they are still returning XML the contents must be different. I haven't checked because I haven't changed anything).

Re: Problem accessing Web Services with 3.5 java client api?

Our services have also failed today, which is a pain as we have a number of time limited requests to deal with! I would have thought we'd be notified if changes to service provision were made, though i can find no issues on the Gateway directly that might indicate services should be/or are down.

To correct the above i have just tried applying a vice-county filter to the Grid map on the NBNG website and it failed. Leads me to believe this is a service failure rather than update/change.
