I have been adding new surveys and locations to a new install of Recorder 6 and so far it has been going quite well.

Yesterday, when trying to add a site, Cadishead Moss SJ699952 - in Lancashire - I got 'There are some locations within 2km of the spatial reference you have entered. Would you like to view a list of these locations? Note, selecting an item from the list will discard the new entry you are making.

When I clicked on yes, I was presented with the following list:-

Belhaven Bay, Dunbar  - NT6479 - Scotland
Clarke Gardens - SJ415857 - Liverpool
Cairnyard, Beeswing - NX 906704 - Scotland
Compartment A2, Nantwich Riverside, Nantwich - SJ649515 - Cheshire
Leeds University - SE23 - Yorkshire
Penketh moor - SJ5785 - Cheshire
Rhydymwyn - SJ2067 - North Wales

If I select 'Belhaven Bay, Dunbar' just to see what happens I get an unhandling error with the exception message 'Access violation at address 004047BC in module 'RecorderApp.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFDB'.

or - despite clicking on Belhaven Bay, the location Astley Moss SJ6997 has been inserted, which is actually quite close.

I gave up on all this, clicked no, and added the site Cadishead Moss SJ699952 anyway.

As a test I have just tried adding a location 'Cadishead SJ698951 and had the same list of sites presented, without Cadishead Moss as an option - even though the grid ref is almost identical.
