Topic: Importing very large text files of data

Hello folks

has anyone found an upper limit on a data import from files such as text, csv or Xlsx?  We have been sent a dataset of over 500,000 records, and it does have a few logical subdivisions if needed, but I would quite like to be able to import the whole thing in one go if it will work  (recorder 6.16, SQLexpress2008........network version)
