Topic: Revalidation problem with Windows 7

We have been experiencing an exception when revalidating the database (via Tools/Database tools/Revalidate database).

I am not 100% sure, but I think the problem is restricted to a new Windows 7 machine. The start of the error message looks like this.

Seems as if W7 is denying access to some temporary folder or process maybe?

Any ideas?

Re: Revalidation problem with Windows 7

We have encountered the same problem as this, with the same exceptional message and also use Windows 7. Was there ever a soloution to this problem?

Re: Revalidation problem with Windows 7

This problem doesn't  exactly fit something I am aware of, but are similar. I think this may be something to do with the location of the user file folder. Windows 7 is expecting a user  file folder in  programdata/recorder 6 folder. I suggest you see if you have a folder programdata/recorder 6/user files and if not then create this and see if it solves the problem. If it doesn't we can do some more investigation.
