When I search for a species and go to the interactive map I'm not getting any dots - e.g. http://data.nbn.org.uk/imt/?mode=SPECIES&species=NHMSYS0000530482

An error came up first time - but hasn't subsequently.

I've also been having problems with the gateway maps timing out in the evenings - no dots on the interactive maps. This has been raised before - if nothing is taxing the server presumably it's a demand problem?

Sorry, Charlie I have just tried this and am not getting any issues. which species were you searching for? We are having a few intermittent issues with the mapping servers as the Gateway grows in size. This will be resolved when we move to the new database structure and architecture in the Autumn.

Some examples here - I've not changed any filter settings etc. - these are straight from the link from the search pages (should have grabbed the error code :rolleyes:).

Oh, and I don't seem to be getting the vice county backing maps either - just blank in firefox, image not found icons in IE (all the others are okay).

It appears the dots overlay images are returning 404?
