The Indicia warehouse has been designed to support easy extension of the data model. For example, we are planning an extension to the data model to support recording of ring-marked birds, where each bird is known as an individual and can have relationships with others.

For anyone with PHP skills keen to get into core warehouse coding, there is new documentation available on how to extend the data model with new entities. See Model View Controller code for the warehouse for more information.
