I've just discovered an annoying bug with associated occurrences section of taxon occurrences:

We had a large amount of records transferred by Sally Rankin from Recorder 3 into Recorder 6 - some of these had records in the "Associated Sp." field - during the transfer, Sally created taxon occurrences for these associated spp. and associated the two species together - all fine so far - in one sample, if there were several insects (for example) with the same associated species, new taxon occurrences were made for each original record, resulting in multiple occurrences of the host plant within the sample.

I have just gone through a sample and deleted these duplicates - unfortunately this has corrupted my data because Recorder DOES NOT CHECK if a taxon occurrence has been used as a related occurrence - so I now have a number of taxon occurrences with a related occurrence consisting of "nothing", but still with a relationship type! Luckily I have my original Recorder 3 so can correct these records, but that check of usage really needs to be added!
