When I log into Recorder (with any username) I get the following error message:

The following addins could not be loaded for the specified reasons:
    GoToGridControl.Go to spatial ref on map.: The specified module could not be found
    GoToKey.GoTo Key: The specified module could not be found
    ShowUnchecked.Display unchecked records: The specified module could not be found
    StdValLib.Recorder 6 Standard Validation: The specified module could not be found

This only seems to be happening to me/on my PC. Other users on other PCs don't get this message.
We're on version: 6.15.4.238

Can anyone help?

John van Breda has a Recorder System Checker which I will e-mail to you. He thinks that you need to register the RecorderAddinInstaller.dll file with Windows, then re-install the add-ins, but his checker should do all this automatically. Please let us know how you get on with it. If anyone else needs it please let me know.

Installing Recorder 6 should automatically install the following add-ins:

GoToGridControl – Go to spatial ref on map
GoToKey – GoTo Key for going to a specific taxon occurrence, for example
ShowUnchecked – Display unchecked records
StdValLib – Recorder 6 Standard Validation

If the functions these provide aren’t available in your system you can download most of them from http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-4597 . This section of the Recorder 6 web-site provides more information about all the add-ins and details of how to uninstall and re-install them, although there is more information in the ReadMe.txt files that accompany them. Beware of the odd mistake like the ReadMe.txt file for the GoTo Key add-in telling you to delete CISExport.ocx when, of course, it should say delete GoToKey.ocx.

I ran System Checker and it reported on the missing Addins as below:

Recorder 6 System Check Report
OK - Recorder installation detected
OK - Checking addin GoToGridControl.Go to spatial ref on map.
Error - This addin is not correctly installed. The specified module could not be found
OK - Checking addin GoToKey.GoTo Key
Error - This addin is not correctly installed. The specified module could not be found
OK - Checking addin ShowUnchecked.Display unchecked records
Error - This addin is not correctly installed. The specified module could not be found
OK - Checking addin StdValLib.Recorder 6 Standard Validation
Error - This addin is not correctly installed. The specified module could not be found
Error - The Standard Validation Library addin is not installed, which may allow incorrect data to be imported into this database.
OK - The Recorder addin installer is correctly installed.
OK - The Recorder OLE Server is correctly installed.
5 error(s) were encountered during this check. Please review the details above.

I then installed the missing Addins, from the Recorder website or the Addin folder of our installation, and all seems fine now.
