I have today made my tentative first steps into looking at names held in our database. Though we now have procedures in place for dealing with names there are ...a few... in there that that predate current standards and are obviously duplicates of the same name.

I am wondering if there is anyone that knows of a way to merge names? or any way of migrating records to a different name and then perhaps just removing the redundant entry?
