Something you may not be aware of is that Google Code, where the Indicia source is hosted, has RSS feeds for various things. So you can, for instance, subscribe to the updates feed in Google Reader (or any other RSS reader you choose; e.g., Outlook or Feed Notifier- http://www.feednotifier.com).
