Another puzzler for consideration....

I've just loaded 40,000 records gone through the entire wizard process. Have no invalid items. Press do import and go to make a cup of tea. I came back and thought I must not have pressed the button. Pressed it again. The final part of the import seems to have gone OK but no completion dialog appears at the end. If I check the summary info the number of records have increased by the expected number i.e. only one copy has been included.

So I can't load the list through the use of a filter to check it either.

However restarting Recorder did fail with "The application failed to initialise properly 90xc0000006)" and had to be forced to die.

What went wrong and how might I find out?
